Chief Okon laid on the hospital bed thinking of how unfair life has been to him. "Just a few days to live, and I'm gone, I can't even enjoy the money I worked hard to gather". Just then his wife entered the room interrupting his thoughts. Her eyes were red and swollen, an evidence that she had been crying.

Just last week, before the accident, they had made plans to move to a bigger apartment that he just purchased at Lekki, but now all hopes were gone, as he laid sick and hurt. "Don't worry honey" his wife said "God can still do something". He hated this religious part of his wife "woman, God does not exist" he muttered with the little strength he had.
